DESCRIPTION:New Hope Home\, in collaboration with partners\, Hands of New Hope\, The Pink Journey Foundation\, and Healing California\, is proud to present the 3rd Annual Free Community Health Service Event on Saturday\, October 12\, 2024\, at New Hope Baptist Church\, located at 1160 E. New York St\, Long Beach\, CA 90813. This day-long event will run from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and is open to the public\, offering essential healthcare services to residents of Long Beach and surrounding areas. No insurance is required\, and all services are free. \nAvailable Services: \n\nMobile Mammography (for women ages 40+): Breast cancer screening and awareness.\nDental Services: Includes exams\, x-rays\, cleanings\, fillings\, and extractions.\nVision Services: Vision exams and free eyeglasses.\nBlood Pressure Testing\nFlu and COVID-19 Vaccinations\nVoter Registration and More!\n\nFirst Come\, First Serve: Registration will close once patient capacity has been reached. Please bring a valid photo ID matching your name for registration purposes. New York St.\, Long Beach\, CA 90813 \nSupporting Organizations:\nNational Council of Negro Women\, Metro\, Chi Eta Phi Sorority\, Inc.\, Delta Sigma Theta – Long Beach Alumnae\, Beta Pi Sigma Sorority\, Inc. – Tau Chapter\, and Long Beach Councilwoman Suely Saro. \nAbout the Organizers:\nThis event is a collaborative effort led by New Hope Home\, Hands of New Hope\, The Pink Journey Foundation\, and Healing California\, with a special focus on Breast Cancer Awareness. To emphasize the importance of early detection\, The Pink Journey Foundation is offering free mobile mammography services to women over 40. Additionally\, Healing California is providing much-needed dental and vision services to vulnerable populations in and around Long Beach. New Hope Home\, Inc. has coordinated this free and accessible healthcare services\, education\, and resources event\, to ensure that everyone in the community can live a healthy\, empowered life.
